Brian Crower, Inc. employs state-of-the-art CNC grinding machines to insure exacting tolerances. Small diameter camshaft grinding wheels on certain BC cam part numbers like Honda B and K Series, Nissan SR20 and Mitsubishi 4G63 deliver added valve action for greater cylinder fill rates. All BC crankshafts and connecting rods are made from the highest quality 4340 steel alloy, CNC machined and finished to the tightest industry specifications. Premium grade 6AL4V titanium retainers, 100% RC checked for hardness, and super clean chrome silicone spring wire for the highest rpm range possible. Every product line is tested on precision measuring instruments for accuracy, imperfections and metallurgy. Dyno tested and tuned for optimum results.
Brian Crower grew up at Crower Cams & Equipment Company, where he headed up the Crower Sport Compact division since its inception. With Crower Cams heavily focused on the V8 market, Brian saw an opportunity to truly support the needs of the Sport Compact community. With the support of his family, Brian Crower Inc. was formed to deliver the highest quality internal engine components for a variety of popular engine platforms.

back in the early 90's, Brian Crower was also an Indy Car mechanic for several years.
BC high performance camshafts are ground on state-of-the-art CNC cam grinders to insure accuracy and tolerances to within .02mm. Every BC camshaft profile has been prototyped and dyno tested for proven horsepower results prior to placed into mass production. By grinding cores in high volume, Brian Crower, Inc. is able to pass the cost savings on to the end user. Quality at an affordable price.
BC uses small diameter grinding wheels during the finishing phase when applicable to generate a more aggressive ramp rate for a faster cylinder fill rate. More air + more fuel = more power. Although it takes longer to grind the cams, research and development has proven that the inverted radius created by the small grinding wheel on the opening side delivers more horsepower on radius and roller rocker applications than the conventional, large diameter grinding wheels.
All BC cams are checked on a high speed, sub-micron accuracy measuring gauge. The Adcole Camshaft Measuring System uses individual measuring heads for each cam journal and cam lobe, with .01 micron resolution, taking one datum point each 1/10th of a degree or 3,600 data points per revolution. Measuring camshafts for rise error and chattermark detection, this model can measure 200 parts per hour.
BC billet cranks are CNC machined from round bar, premium 4340 chromoly steel to ensure the strongest possible shaft available. Each BC crankshaft is 100% inspected to a tolerance of .02mm. When used with the corresponding connecting rod and piston combination, the BC stroker kit delivers a system matched setup that installs correctly the first time with just one phone call or email.
