Aasco Motorsports was founded in 1995 by brothers Dennis and Randall Aase. Dennis owned and operated Aase Bros. Porsche wrecking yard and concurrently raced professionally since the 1960's. Randall owned and operated Randall Aase Motors a Porsche repair and engine building shop since the 1970's and also worked closely with Dennis on his race teams and building and developing engine technology. In 1995 they decided to join together in business to create a multi-faceted Motor sports company called Aasco Performance Incorporated. Aasco Provides track support for professional and semi-professional race drivers with a complete facility that has engine dyno services, repair services, race car transporters, pit equipment and a professional full time pit crew staff. Aasco Motorsports is an off shoot of Aasco Performance inc. with its focus aimed at Motorsports operations in professional racing and American made performance parts.

Aasco began manufacturing light weight driveline components beginning with Aluminum flywheels with the addition of Head Engineer Vince Howard. Vince began his career in the automotive industries nearly 30 years ago. Vince has been in the light-weight flywheel industry since 1985 and with the aid of CAD-CAM Software and CNC machines taking over the rulers and pencil of the past Aasco has become one of the most technically advanced flywheel manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Yet, Aasco still maintains a complete manual machine shop for those one-off custom applications giving us the ability to make virtually anything. Aasco is also a full stocking warehouse distributor of Tilton Engineering products we offer a multitude of the highest quality racing components available combined with our own custom racing applications. Our unique ability to manufacture thousands of the highest quality OEM replacement light-weight flywheels as well as several hundred custom variations differentiates us from the competition that have limited Q.C. and application limitations because the bulk of their manufacturing is done overseas.
